Then, when a fan asked him, “Is it that you prefer dark films more now?” Shahid replied by saying, “Nope. Not for a while now.” Here’s the tweet:

Both his replies made us curious wondering if they were hinting about the box office failure of his recently release flick ‘Rangoon’?

‘Rangoon’ directed by Vishal Bhardwaj starred Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut in main roles. While all the three actors earned praises for their performances, the movie did not set the cash registers ringing. So, we wonder if his replies hinted at his sadness over the failure of ‘Rangoon’.

Next in line is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ in which Shahid plays the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. He also gave out some qualities of his character in the Twitter chat when a fan asked him, “Best thing about Raja Rawal Ratan Singh character” and he replied back by saying, “noble heroic fearless. Above all a true lover”. ‘Padmavati’ also stars Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone and is slated to release on November 17, 2017.
