Brahmastra is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. After being postponed for several times, the movie is finally releasing in theatres on September 9. The Ayan Mukerji directorial has an ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni. It will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada apart from Hindi. The teaser has already left fans excited and they are now eagerly waiting for Brahmastra-Part One: Shiva trailer that is releasing on June 15. Well, today, Ayan Mukerji has dropped a video where we see megastar Chiranjeevi lending his voice for the Telugu version of the Brahmastra.

Chiranjeevi has come on board to give the voice-over for the Telugu version of Brahmastra trailer. In the video, we see the Acharya actor receiving a warm welcome by Ayan and the latter even touches his feet to seek blessing and then Chiranjeevi hugs the director.

Sharing the BTS video on his Instagram handle, Ayan Mukerji wrote, “Chiranjeevi Garu & Brahmāstra ❤️?
I have met Chiranjeevi Garu on just two occasions – once with Ranbir when we asked him to lend his voice for Brahmāstra in Telugu, and once when we recorded his iconic voice a few days ago – but the feeling he has left me with, will last forever.”

He called him “A Mega Star with Magic Energy” who made him “feel so warm and so welcome, and was so positive about Brahmāstra”. He added, “I cherish deeply having had the privilege to have met him on this journey !”

Ayan further wrote, “With utmost respect (and excitement)… I feel honoured to share that Chiranjeevi Garu is lending his Voice to our movie, and our Trailer in Telugu. To be in the Dub Studio with him, and to listen to his voice on our Trailer – will be one of my favourite memories on Brahmāstra!”

For the unversed, RRR director SS Rajamouli is presenting Brahmastra in all four South languages. Recently, he promoted the film in Visakhapatnam with Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan.

The film is jointly produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures.
