Dulquer once shared that his parents’ love story is the most unique ever. He said that his parents get easily worried if they not see each other for a few minutes or not spoken on the phone. He also added that his father Mammootty would spontaneously reach for the phone when he hears the director calling a cut.

Another South superstar Mohanlal took to social media on Wednesday to share a sketch of fellow actor Mammootty and his wife Sulfath to wish them on their marriage anniversary. “Happy wedding anniversary dear Ichakka and baabhi @mammukka,” Mohanlal captioned it.

Their fans also showered wedding anniversary wishes on the couple, who got married in 1979. Many even posted some loved-up photos of the couple, who also have a daughter, Surumi apart from their son Dulquer.

Mammootty’s recently-released Malayalam movie One is now out on Netflix. The movie premiered on April 27. Helmed by filmmaker Santhosh Vishwanath, One also features Murali Gopy, Joju George, Siddique, Mathew Thomas, Ishaani Krishna, Gayatri Arun and Nimisha Sajayan in pivotal roles.

The political-thriller was initially slated for theatrical release on May 22 last year but the release had to be postponed in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown. The film finally hit the big screens on March 26 this year.
