Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata & Pawan Kalyan’s PSPK 27 to clash at the box-office on Sankranti 2022

Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata will hit the theatres on Sankranti 2022. Recently, the team shared that the movie will be releasing on the occasion of Makar Sankranti i.e on January 14. It is directed by Parasuram Petka and is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment and 14 Reels Plus. Also, today, the makers of Pawan Kalyan starrer Krish’s directorial PSPK 27 announced the release date. It is also releasing on the same day in 2022. In that case, Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan’s movies will have a major clash at the box-office.

Today, the makers of Pawan Kalyan starrer tweeted, “The most awaited film of Power Star @PawanKalyan garu & our @DirKrish, #PSPK27 will be coming on Sankranthi 2022. Get ready to witness the Periodic Extravaganza and Might Power Fire like never before on Big Screens.”

On January 29 this year, Mahesh Babu tweeted, “Sankranthi it is!!! #SarkaruVaariPaata”.

PSPK27 is directed by Krish that also has Nidhhi Agerwal as the female lead. Apart from this, Pawan Kalyan also has Vakeel Saab, a Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Ayyappanum Koshiyum, and #PSPK28.

Last year, due to the Coronavirus induced lockdown, the release dates of many movies were postponed. Now, as the government has allowed 100% occupancy in theatres, the makers are announcing the release dates of their movies. Be it Bollywood movies or South movies, many mega movies are having clashes with each other on festive occasions like Sankranti, Pongal, Eid and Diwali.
