Thalapathy 66: Actor Vijay joins hands with Director Vamsi Paidipally for his next project

Actor Thalapathy Vijay has reportedly joined hands with director Vamsi Paidipally for his upcoming movie, Thalapathy 66. His fans are super excited to know this great news as they will get to see their idol back on screen again.

The buzz is that director Vamsi Paidipally and producer Dil Raju will work with Vijay for a movie that is tentatively titled Thalapathy 66. Vamsi Paidipally has confirmed the news to Telugu media. But, an official statement from the team is yet awaited. It is said that the announcement will be made once the lockdown-like restrictions imposed due to the pandemic will be lifted.

Meanwhile, Thalapathy 65‘s final schedule for the shoot in Georgia has been wrapped up and the rest of the shoot has come to a halt due to the Covid restrictions. Helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar the film will see Vijay romancing Pooja Hegde. Thalapathy 65 is apparently scheduled to release around Pongal 2022. Talking about Vijay’s role in this film a source was quoted telling Pinkvilla, “It’s going to be Vijay like never before. He plays the role of an agent, who is a master at conning people, in this action thriller that has undertones of humour as well. In a nutshell, we can say, it’s going to be Vijay as a con agent in Thalapathy 65.”
