He wrote, “So much to share… iconic stories that all resonate with something deep inside… Grateful for you all…” This led fans to believe Deepika might come back as Serena Unger in the next XXX film, possibly set in Mumbai.

Deepika’s Exit From Kalki Sequel

Deepika’s sudden exit from Kalki 2 has also sparked debate. Reports say she asked for a 25% pay hike, limited work hours (only seven per day), and luxury arrangements for her large 25-person team. She also requested five-star stays and food expenses to be covered. Sources say she even asked to double her pay compared to the first film.

The producers reportedly found these demands hard to meet, which led to her stepping away from the project. Though Deepika hasn’t responded to these reports directly, she recently posted about starting work on her next film, King, with Shah Rukh Khan—showing that she’s moving forward with other projects.
