Jane Fonda recommends movie RRR to fans as she watches it!

Talking about the SS Rajamouli movie, Jane Fona in her Instagram post said she was ‘transfixed’ after watching RRR. The Grace and Frankie actress dropped a poster of the film featuring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn. Sharing the poster, Fonda couldn’t stop but heap praise on the movie.

Known for her movie recommendations to her Instagram followers, the two-time Academy winning actress said that the SS Rajamouli directorial took her by ‘surprise’. Describing the film RRR for her fans, Jane said it is a combination of ‘Indiana Jones’.

In the caption of her post on Instagram, Fonda wrote, “On the complete opposite extreme of the last film I recommended, “To Leslie,” here’s another new one that took me by surprise: RRR, an Indian movie that’s short listed in the Best Foreign Film category. It’s a combination of Indiana Jones, a serious film about imperialism and Bollywood. I was transfixed. @rrrmovie.“

Taking to the comments section of the post, many Indian fans reacted and thanked the actress. One user said, “I am extremely happy to see an icon appreciating our Indian movie on a public platform.” In the comments, one user pointed out to Fonda that RRR is an ‘Indian’ movie and not ‘Bollywood’. The user said, “It’s a remarkable movie! But sorry to say, it’s not Bollywood.“

Meanwhile, speaking of RRR, the SS Rajamouli directorial won big at the Golden Globes 2023. It bagged an award for the song Naatu Naatu. The movie has also secured a nomination in the Best Foreign Film category at the Critics Choice Awards.
