If one has to pick one of the best genres of Bollywood, undoubtedly comedy will top the list for many. In todays’ world when everyone goes through a week full of stress, laughter is the best medicine to relax over the weekend. Well we can say with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Neha Sharma’s latest release ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’ , People don’t have worry about this weekend’s laughter dose.

All about the Story

‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’ is a simple story of a man Jogi who lives in Lucknow. The protagonist runs an event company here which named as Shandaar Events. People know his company for organising weddings of the people. He has a house full of females with his mother, aunt and sisters and is never able to satisfy their material needs. This is the reason he has sworn not to get married ever in life. He meets Dimple, a bubbly girl played by Neha Sharma who asks him to disarrange his marriage. Jogi get involved in cancelling her marriage age and eventually gets into trouble as has to face the consequences of marrying her to save face.

The story is simple but throughout the film it gives you a dose of hilarious moments. The film which is a romantic comedy has been directed by Kushan Nandy who has previously helmed films like Babumoshai Bandookbaaz and 88 Antop Hill. It is produced by Naeem A Siddiqui. The film has been written by Ghalib Asad Bhopali. 

Star Performances

Film features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Neha Sharma in lead roles with Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Sanjay Mishra, Zarina Wahab in supporting roles. 

Nawaz takes the onus of the film completely on his shoulders. His straight face humour wins your heart all through the film. Till date most of the time, we have seen him in dark and serious roles, but with his amazing comic timing, we think his comic roles will become his fan’s favourite. He is effortless and his comic sense is flawless all through the film. Neha Sharma is like a breeze in the film. She looks fresh and resplendent and completely supports Nawaz. Audience will absolutely love their chemistry.

Supporting cast too has nailed their performances. Mahaakshay Chakraborty in the role of Lallu will tickle your bones and when Sanjay Mishra is in his comic avatar, the level of the film’s comedy only increases. 

Conclusion

Kushan Nandy’s first comedy film as a director will impress everyone and we give him full marks for his direction. Asad Bhopali’s writing is gripping. The music of the film matches its comic genre. Overall, the film will give you a healthy dose of laughter and will destress you. It’s a complete family entertainer!
