Complication are added in the form Abhay Deol who plays the role of a student union leader from JNU.

Zoya falls in love with him and request Kundan to help her . Kundan sets out to unite the two inspite of his feelings for Zoya and the love triangle follows a path of love, betrayal and ultimately healing.

Dhanush’s  isn’t the run of the mill hero but his biggest asset is his simplicity. He is the driving force of Raanjhanaa. His innocence makes you believe in his love for Zoya, Sonam has come a long way and at present easily delivers the transition from a young girl to a person who is dealing with loss. Abhay Deol as usual is impressive in the few scenes that he has.

The casting director has done a good job of choosing the perfect actors for each role whether it is Swara Bhaskara or Ayyub.

The cinematography is awesome as it brings alive the temple environs of Benaras and the dusty backstreets.
A R Rahman’s soulful music adds life to the movie, his soulful tracks like Tum Tak ,Tu Mun shudi,Piya Milenge are music to the ears.

The dialogues are convincing and make the characters impressionable. Anand L Rai’s direction and the storyline holds the viewer to his seat.

The first half is interesting than the later half. All in all should be watched for Dhanush and Sonam.
