Mammootty, Dhanush Celebrate National Award Wins On OM Set

Mammootty received the National Award for Best Actor for his performance in Bramayugam, marking his fourth National Award. His role earned widespread acclaim from audiences and critics alike. Dhanush earned two awards at the 72nd National Film Awards: one for his directorial debut Raayan, which won Best Tamil Film, and a Special Mention for his acting in Captain Miller. Rajkumar Perisamy was recognised as Best Director for Amaran, and R Kalaivanan won the Best Editing award for the same film.

About OM

OM: Chapter 1 (Udhiram – The Blood Wood) is an upcoming Tamil action-thriller featuring Dhanush, Mammootty, Sai Pallavi, and Sreeleela. Directed by Rajkumar, the film is scheduled for worldwide release on October 16. Inspired by real-life events, the full story remains under wraps.
