Randeep Hooda to star in ‘Yeh Laal Rang’

The Highway actor Randeep Hooda will soon be seen in a social thriller ‘Yeh Lal Rang’. The story is set in a small Haryana town. It deals with hitherto unexplored issue of blood theft and blood mafia. directed by the Youngistan director Syed Ahman Afzal and produced by Krian Media, the movie is all set to go on floors by July.

Raj Malik, SVP-Film Production and Distribution, Krian Media said, “Randeep loved the story when he heard it. Randeep is one of the finest actors we have in the business and has always created a lasting impression of the characters he has portrayed. The audience and the film trade recognize him as a complete actor. We are thrilled to be working with someone of his high caliber.”

Afzal said, “The film deals with a serious issue plaguing the region but it will be treated with a lot of dark humour. I have co-written the script with Pankaj Matta. We should go on floors by July. We hope to bring fresh insight into the crime of stealing blood and supplying it to places around Haryana, like Delhi-NCR. Randeep will be playing a Jat for the first time.”

It will be interesting to see Randeep Hooda exploring his Haryanvi roots once again.
