There have been several reports which state that the lovely couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are all set to work together in a movie after many years. And the movie will be Anurag Kashyap’s production called as ‘Gulab Jamun’. Now, Abhishek has opened up on these reports at an event.

At the 20-year-celebration of the movie ‘Border’, Abhishek addressed the topic with the media. He said, “That film is not directed by Anurag Kashyap. It will have a new director and will be produced by Anurag Kashyap. We are still in talks with Anurag about that and right now we can’t announce anything because I feel the producer is the right person when it comes to announcing a film.” (Also Read: Abhishek Bachchan to star in a film titled ‘Sanki’?)

He also spoke about the new trend of remakes and sequels in Bollywood. He said, “Today, most filmmakers make a sequel of their earlier films because it’s a marketing ploy and it is good for the films. As far as ‘Border’ is concerned, we won’t be able to make a remake of a film like ‘Border’ because it is still fresh in everyone’s mind and memories. Only J.P. Dutta can make a sequel of it, but he is not willing to do that.”

Okay, so we will have to wait till an official announcement comes from Mr Kashyap about the movie.
