Abhishek Bachchan to have a busy year ahead

Abhishek Bachchan was last seen on the big screen in ‘Housefull 3’, which was a hit at the box office. After that film, the actor didn’t sign any movie. However, now Abhishek has nearly four films in his kitty, and he will be having a busy year ahead.

The actor will be seen in a film titled ‘Lefty’ which will be directed by Prabhu Dheva and Abhishek will be producing it. Then there’s a film with Nishikanth Kamat, and there are two more films the actor will be working on. While one will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the other which is apparently titled as ‘Bachchan Singh’, will be produced by Rajat Rawail and directed by Priyadarshan.

The screenplay of ‘Lefty’ is written by Kona Venkat, who had written Salman Khan’s ‘Ready’ and has also scripted Sridevi-starrer ‘MOM’. The wrote said, “I was signed by Abhishek three years ago. His friend heard a one-line narration from me in New York and told him about it. Abhishek asked me to come for a narration to his office. He loved the script. It’s a science fiction thriller, something like ‘Ghajini’ and is about an eccentric guy who is left-handed, just like Abhishek is in real life. There have also been reports of Abhishek and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan teaming up for a film titled ‘Gulab Jamun’. However, there’s no official confirmation about it.

It looks like in the coming months we will get to see Abhishek Bachchan a lot on the big screens.
