Ajay Devgn's next an Telugu remake?

Ajay Devgn whose last appearance in this year’s family thriller drama ‘Drishyam’ brought him his lost appreciation after his back to back failures ‘Himmatwala’ and ‘Action Jackson.’ Ajay Devgn is termed as a versatile and perfectionist performer by seeing his selection of films. Another highlight of the actor are his action sequences which were very less seen in ‘Drishyam,’ a thriller drama remake of an Malayalam film of the same name. Therefore here’s good news for the fans of Ajay Devgn.

If speculations are to be believed then ‘Singham’ actor is all set to star in a remake of an upcoming Telugu film titled ‘Dictator.’ The original version is ready for release in the month of January in 2016. The film is helmed by Sriwass, who is also co-producing the movie with Eros International. Sources say, “Few days ago, the head honchos of a Mumbai-based production house met Sriwass to discuss the prospect of remaking the film in Hindi.”

“They like the script very much and want Sriwass to helm the Bollywood version as well. They are in talks with Ajay Devgn to play the protagonist in the Hindi version. If all goes as per plan Sriwass would soon be making his Bollywood debut” added the source.

The film’s hero is a character of stylish Don and lots of slick action sequences are there, claiming to be the film’s USP. Ajay Devgn is popular for performing Action on screen. ‘Singham’ series watched his return to this genre after a gap of almost 10 years. Fans that blew whistle seeing him in ‘Singham’ would wait to see him back in performing those daredevil stunts.

Ajay Devgn is currently shooting for his next directional ‘Shivaay’ which is slated for a release on October 28, 2016 making it a clash with Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ staring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
