Diljit Dosanjh talks about opting out of 'Baadshaho'

After making an impressive Bollywood debut with his stellar performance in ‘Udta Punjab’, actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh‘s next Bollywood release ‘Phillauri’ will be hitting the screens in 2017. Not many of his fans would know that Diljit was offered a role in Milan Luthria’s next ‘Baadshaho‘. But ultimately the actor opted out of this movie after he felt that he would not be able to do justice to the role offered to him.

Talking about it to an agency, Diljit Dosanjh said, “Milan sir is a nice director. The role that I was offered I felt I would not be able to justify. It was a nice role. But I couldn’t relate to the character. I felt I couldn’t just do it. I did speak to Milan sir after that (referring to not doing the film).”

Finally, the role went to actor Emraan Hashmi and Diljit is quite happy about it.

‘Baadshaho’ is slated to release on March 10, 2017.
