Irrfan Khan in first poster of Aarushi murder case film, ‘Talvar’

The first two posters of the movie based on Aarushi Talwar’s murder case “Talvar” was revealed this Friday.

One poster showed the blindfolded Lady Justice holding a sword in one hand and scales of justice in the other. Another poster showed Irrfan looking serious with the tagline, “India’s most controversial case reopens on 2nd October”.

Director Meghna Gulzar took to micro-blogging website Twitter, where she shared the poster and wrote:

The story of Talvar revolves around the murder of 14-year-old Aarushi Talwar and 45-year-old domestic helper Hemraj, that took place in the year 2008 in Noida.

Talvar’s premiere is scheduled to take place at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival in September.

The film also stars Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Tabu and Sohum Shah in key roles and is slated to be released on 2nd October, 2015.
