Linkup rumours with Arjun Kapoor don’t affect her, says Athiya Shetty

Arjun Kapoor and Athiya Shetty are rumoured to be going around for quite some time now. However, none of them have ever acknowledged anything more than friendship between them. As the two are set to share screen in ‘Mubarakan’, Athiya was asked if rumours of affair with Arjun affect her at all.

“I don’t deal with these things. I just laugh out loud at all these reports. It’s new for me, but I don’t take it too seriously because I have known Arjun since always. So, for the media it’s news, but I have always known him,” shrugged Athiya, during a conversation with Deccan Chronicle. “It never makes it to dinner table conversations. It’s not awkward, but a part and parcel of the film industry,’ added the actress, who also happens to be a friend of Arjun’s sister Anshula Kapoor.

‘Mubarakan’ also stars Anil Kapoor and will hit the screens on July 28.
