Ranveer Singh said, “There are ups and downs in life. I’ve had some serious injuries, which I’ve had to overcome. Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl (2011) took a year to be made, and Lootera (2013) also got delayed because I injured my back very badly. So, for 19 months, I didn’t have a single release. For a newcomer, that could be catastrophic. Because of the injury, I didn’t even know if I would be able to shoot for any action scenes, or ever dance again. It’s not fun to be out of action.”

Ranveer Singh further added that, “We were taught in acting school that your body is your instrument, and you are the player of that instrument. So, it is important to take care of your body. Sometimes, when these things (injuries) happen, it gets very scary.”

At present Ranveer Singh is busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical romance ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
