‘Queen’ actress Kangana Ranaut is already on the go, she has begun the preparations for Hansal Mehta’s upcoming movie ‘Simran’. The movie will have her depicting the role of a Gujarati NRI. Apparently to get the nuances of her character right Kangana has been on a daily dose of Gujarati plays and movies.

The makers of the Hansal Mehta film have finally revealed the first look of the actress from the upcoming release. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the first look of ‘Simran’, it has the actress sporting a no-make up look, dressed in a monochromatic dress. Her tied up hair and that lovely smile add to her charm.

It is known that the talented actress is depicting the role of a Gujarati girl in the film but not many know that her character in the movie has shades of grey too. Kangana will be playing the role of a girl called Praful Patel, a housekeeper, who gets embroiled in a crime. The film will be shot across the US including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Jose, San Francisco and Atlanta. Simran is being jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shailesh Singh. Written by Apurva M Asrani, the film will hit the screens in 2017.

After nailing her Haryanvi act in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, it will be a treat to watch Kangana as a Gujju Ben for Hansal Mehta’s ‘Simran’.
