Shahid Kapoor to play a singer in ‘Udta Punjab’

‘Haider’ actor Shahid Kapoor‘s upcoming film ‘Udta Punjab’ has been in news since it’s inception. After the news of Ex lovers Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor coming together for the movie, we have another interesting scoop. It seems that Shahid Kapoor will be playing a singer in the film.

The cast and crew of ‘Udta Punjab’ is in Amritsar. Shahid Kapoor had even shared his look of long streaked hair and stubble with his fans. Though he was quite secretive about his role in the film. We bring to you the news that
the actor is all set play a singer in the film.

Shahid Kapoor’s look in the film seems to be inspired by the 60’s and the 70’s singers. The actor has also tweeted the completion of his schedule for the film. He is returning soon to Mumbai.
