Ajay Devgn

Narendra Modi’s move to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes seems to have had an adverse effect on Ajay Devgn‘s upcoming film ‘Baadshaho’. The shooting of the film which is being directed by Milan Luthria has been kept on hold due to the cash crunch.

According to reports, the shoot of ‘Baadshaho’ has been kept on hold for approximately two weeks. As a few junior artistes and crew members are paid wages on daily basis, it has created a problem for the makers to pay them. Hence, a break in the shoot. But despite all of this, Ajay is in full support of this move. He recently said, “Whenever change takes place, common man faces problem… people from my office are standing in queues and willing to face problems for a better future. You really need guts to take a step like this, hats off as this will be beneficial in the long run.”

When asked about his film suffering because of this, “Even my film is suffering because of this but in front of nation’s interest, I find this inconvenience trivial. I want to request people to not panic, there is time till December 30. People who’re not in desperate need for money can wait a bit.”
