Sorry folks, Parineeti Chopra and John Abraham are not doing a movie together

There was a strong speculation that actors John Abraham and Parineeti Chopra are teaming up for a movie directed by Anees Bazmee. John had earlier collaborated with Bazmee on the movie ‘Welcome Back’, a sequel to ‘Welcome’. Reports were rife that the actor would be teaming up with Bazmee once again for a project and the leading lady of the movie would be Parineeti Chopra. But, turns out, all this is untrue as Parineeti’s spokesperson has given a statement on the same.

The spokesperson said, “Some news has been doing the rounds of Parineeti Chopra and John Abraham coming together for Anees Bazmee’s next. To clarify, there is no truth to this whatsoever.” (Also Read: On-point! We are in love with the way Parineeti Chopra layered her outfit)

So, we won’t be seeing the fresh pairing of John Abraham and Parineeti Chopra anytime soon on the big screen. Talking about their upcoming projects, then John is busy shooting for his forthcoming movie ‘Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran’ which is slated for a December release. The movie is about the nuclear test that was done at Pokhran in the year 1998. The movie is directed by Abhishek Sharma and stars Diana Penty opposite John.

On the other hand, Parineeti Chopra will be seen in the multi-starrer comedy ‘Golmaal Again’ which is directed by Rohit Shetty and slated to release in October this year.
