Salman Khan and Arijit Singh are once again making headlines. Why, you ask? Well, fans believe that Salman and Arijit have buried their hatchet nine years after their ugly fight. Recently, Arijit was spotted exiting Salman’s Galaxy apartment. The viral video left fans convinced that all is now well between the two of them. Some even feel that Arijit might have a song in Salman’s upcoming movie Tiger 3.

For the uninitiated, Salman and Arijit’s fight dates back to 2014. Well, did you know that Arijit Singh had written an apology letter to Salman Khan after their fight? In his letter, Arijit had mentioned that he never had any intentions to insult the superstar. He had also requested him to not delete a song he sung for the actor’s film Sultan.

Arijit Singh once wrote an apology letter to Salman Khan

His apology note read, “Dear Mr Salman Khan, This is the last way I thought I would speak to you. I have been trying to text you, call you and do everything possible to tell you that you are mistaken about the fact that I insulted you. I never did. That night in the show it was the wrong time and wrong aura. Nevertheless you felt insulted.”

He added, “And I understood and I felt extremely sorry about it as me and my family have been your fan since long. I tried to explain so many times but you never got it. I apologized but you never got it. How many times I sent you apology texts you also know.”

Talking about the song, he wrote, “Please do not remove the song that I sang for you in Sultan. You want anyone else to sing this song, absolutely fine but keep a version at least. I have sung enough song sir. But I want to retire with at least one song of you keeping in my library. Please do not take away this feeling.”

In his note, Arijit also mentioned, “I will be a fan bhaijaan… Jagg ghumeya thare jaisa na koi…

For the unversed, Salman and Arijit’s fight took place during an award function in 2014. Salman was hosting the award show when Arijit came on stage to receive his award. The superstar said, “Tu hai winner?” To this, he had responded saying, “Aap logon ne sula diya (You all put me to sleep).”

Post this incident, Arijit’s songs were removed from Salman’s movie Sultan. The singer had sung the song Jag Ghoomeya. The song was later re-recorded by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
