Shah Rukh Khan mistook for Akshay Kumar by a fan

Shah Rukh Khan is not only a man with a heart of gold but is also known for his wit and sense of humour. In a throwback interview, the Dilwale actor reveals how a female fan mistook him for Akshay Kumar and his reaction to it.

In an interview with Sajid Khan and Riteish Deshmukh on Yaaron Ki Baraat, the Badshah said, “I was at London’s Heathrow Airport when a female fan came running towards me for an autograph. I said no not now as I have to catch a flight. After crossing the road and the terminal I finally reached the airport. That lady was still insisting, ‘please, please’.

I finally told her to wait here and after checking in returned and told her, ‘ Ok let’s click a pic now’. She said, ‘I am a very big fan’. So I told her its ok. The fan then said, ‘Akshay I love you’. SRK was not offended by her mistake but asked her if she loved his song ‘Tu Cheez badi hai mast mast, to which she replied yes.

Shah Rukh Khan further added that I did give her an autograph but kept the name Akshay Kumar in it as I did not want to break her heart. “Uss lady ko, main unka dil nahi todna chahta tha toh maine jo signature diya, wo Akshay Kumar hi diya tha.”, he said.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan premiered on Amazon Prime Video on March 22. The Siddharth Anand directorial is screening on the OTT platform with some unseen deleted footage. Fans are blown over by the action-packed unseen videos and soon #PathaanonPrime started trending on social media.

Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki with Taapsee Pannu. He also has Atlee’s Jawan in his kitty. The movie also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. King Khan reportedly has a cameo in Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3.
