On Sunday evening, by far the most magnificent event of this year was witnessed in the presence of not one, two but three superstars sharing the stage. Yes, it was the first look launch of the much-anticipated science fiction film ‘2.0’. Thalaiva Rajinikanth made a grand entry at this event which was followed by his co-actors Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. But certainly, the highlight of this launch turned out to be the surprise arrival of superstar Salman Khan who made it clear that he wasn’t invited to this event, but it was his desire to meet Rajinikanth. Going all praise for the entire team of ‘2.0’, Salman was seen sharing the stage with none other than Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and others consisting of actress Amy Jackson, director S Shankar and music composer AR Rahman. And here we bring some pictures from this first look launch which capture the candid essence of the event.

The launch was held at Yash Raj Studios and was hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. ‘2.0’ will see Bollywood’s Khiladi, actor Akshay Kumar making his Tamil film debut playing the part of an antagonist. It is slated to release during the festive time of Diwali in 2017.
