Rajinikanth on ‘2.0’: I am not the hero, Akshay Kumar is

The Sunday that went by witnessed one of the biggest cinema events of all time, thanks to the ‘2.0’ first look launch that took place in Mumbai.

Apart from the entire cast and crew that was present, the evening also saw actor Salman Khan gracing the event with his presence. The people present on the occasion were provided with 3D glasses and it was truly a spectacle.

But even though everyone came in to get a glimpse of Thalaiva Rajinikanth, his humbleness bowled everyone over. The superstar said that he is not the hero of the film! Shocked? Well, so were we.

The actor stated that it is not him but Akshay Kumar who is the hero. “In this film, Rajinikanth is not the hero, Akshay Kumar is,” he said.

While Akshay plays the evil Dr Richards in the movie, Rajinikanth reprises the role of Chitti from the prequel.
