As Nawazuddin Siddiqui was busy in some other professional commitments, his presence was missed at the trailer launch event of 'TE3N'. As the media interaction came to an end Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Sujoy Ghosh and Ribhu Dasgupta posed for the shutterbugs.

Amitabh Bachchan said that he admires this generation actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan with whom he will be seen in ‘TE3N’. This is the first time Amitabh Bachchan would be seen along Nawazuddin whereas with Vidya he has worked earlier in ‘Paa’ and ‘Eklavya: The Royal Guard'.

Vidya Balan said at the trailer launch event, "I don’t think there is a question of returning to Kolkata because I spend half my days there invariably. But it was wonderful. People are so warm and welcoming, my debut film was a Bengali film, even before ‘Parineeta’, so they actually think I am Bengali".

Talking about his character John Biswas, Amitabh Bachchan said, "Ribhu doesn't wanted me to be the same as in my earlier films. I am playing an Anglo Indian old man. I had to modulate my voice. Since I have done 'Piku' so I knew the dialect, but when we did research on Anglo Indians, they hardly spoke Bengali. This film is different from 'Wazir' but there might be a similarity since both are mystery films. In 'Piku', I rode cycle but in 'TE3N' I drove an old scooter. It was tough to make the balance."

Sujoy Ghosh

The ‘Kahaani’ helmer Sujoy Ghosh is the creative producer of ‘TE3N’, he is currently shooting 'Kahaani 2' in Kolkata itself which again stars Vidya Balan in the lead along with Arjun Rampal.

Sharing his experience working with the makers of 'TE3N', Amitabh Bachchan said, "I and Sujoy go long back and we have always appreciated each other's works. I was introduced to Ribhu by Anurag Kashyap. I did a TV series 'Yudh' with him. He came up with the idea of 'TE3N'. Ribhu actually came up with another idea earlier which was set in Kerala but than 'TE3N' happened. The film was supposed to be shot in Goa, but due to permission issues we shot in Kolkata. Sujoy was happy with this decision."

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan never fails to surprise his fans with his films. The actor, who started this year with a brilliant crime thriller like ‘Wazir’, is now ready to deliver another masterpiece along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan in their forthcoming release titled ‘TE3N‘. Again the same genre of crime thriller, this Ribhu Dasgupta directorial is set in the city of Kolkata, where a crime connects all the three principal characters to solve this case puzzle hidden in a mystery for years. After raising the curiosity with its unusual yet eye-catching posters, the makers of this movie unveiled the trailer at a suburban multiplex in Mumbai on Thursday.
