Film producer Sattee Shourie, Arjun Kapoor’s grandmother passed away on June 10, 2016. Sattee was the maternal grandmother of actor Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. Sattee had produced the film ‘Farishtay’ and television series ‘Sheesha’.

Sattee Shourie was the mother of Mona Kapoor, producer Boney Kapoor’s first wife. Boney divorced Mona in 1996 and married Sridevi soon after. Mona then reportedly fell ill and suffered with health complications that ultimately lead to her death in 2012.

We saw many B-town celebs attend the funeral of Arjun Kapoor’s grandmother Sattee Shourie at Vile Parle West Smashan.
