Directing some cinematic gems like ‘Satya’, ‘Company’ and ‘The Attacks of 26/11’ earlier, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has returned to Bollywood with another interesting yet more gripping subject based upon the life of Indian bandit Veerappan through his forthcoming release titled ‘Veerappan‘. The movie is planned to narrate the rise of this sandalwood smuggler and the planning of Operation Cocoon, a mission headed by the Commander of the Tamil Nadu Special Task Force, Vijay Kumar, who had masterminded the final assault on Veerappan. Recently, Ram Gopal Varma and his team gathered to unveil the trailer of this biopic thriller film at a suburban multiplex in Mumbai. The film is slated to hit the silver screens on May 27, 2016.
