Anil Kapoor’s next ‘Fanney Khan’ goes on floor

Anil Kapoor has started work on the Hindi remake of the Oscar nominated movie ‘Everybody’s Famous!’ which is titled as ‘Fanney Khan’. The actor shot for a day for this movie before he left for IIFA.

This movie is a comic drama. It’s an emotional father/daughter story and the music is the soul of this movie. The flick will be directed by first time director Atul Manjrekar. Atul is a well-known ad filmmaker and a long-time colleague of director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.

This movie is produced by Cinestaan Film Company and ROMP Pictures. It is their second association together after ‘Mirzya’ which will be released on October 7. Anil will also be seen in a film to be helmed by director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
