In an interview with Film Companion South conducted before the film’s production, Geetu openly discussed her unconventional filmmaking approach, stating, “I write something else. I shoot something else. I edit something else. Then the film is out. Then I’m happy. I never stick to the script.” She further explained that she informs producers upfront that the final film may differ from the original script, emphasising her fluid approach to filmmaking.
