The launch event for the song “Sahana Sahana” from the highly anticipated film The Raja Saab took place at Lulu Mall in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening. The event was attended by director Maruthi and lead actress Nidhhi Agerwal, drawing a large crowd of fans and media coverage, which later turned into a horrific incident of the actress being mobbed. The film, starring Prabhas, has been generating significant buzz ever since its announcement, especially as it marks a genre shift for the superstar into horror.
Nidhhi Agerwal Gets Mobbed At The Raja Saab Song Launch
However, the evening took an unfortunate turn when chaos erupted during Nidhhi Agerwal’s exit from the venue. As she attempted to leave in her car, she was mobbed by fans and onlookers, leading to a distressing situation. Videos circulating on social media captured the chaos as Nidhhi struggled to make her way through the crowd, despite security personnel’s efforts to escort her. She was jostled and pushed amid the crowd, visibly upset and shaken by the ordeal before finally managing to get into her vehicle.
Internet REACTS To Horrific Incident
The disturbing visuals sparked widespread outrage online. Many social media users criticised the crowd’s behaviour, emphasising the importance of crowd control and respecting celebrities’ personal boundaries. Comments ranged from condemnations of the chaos to calls for better management at such events. One user remarked, “Terrifying moments as Nidhhi Agerwal is overwhelmed at the song launch. Crowd management is essential,” while another added, “Disturbing footage of Nidhhi being surrounded by fans. Some common sense from the crowd could have prevented this.”
Others pointed fingers at the event organisers, criticising their planning and safety measures. A social media user said, “Don’t blame the crowd—blame the movie team. Is this how they plan events? The Lulu Mall area is crowded and small; poor management led to this chaos.” Several comments expressed concern for Nidhhi’s well-being, with one saying, “Feel bad for Nidhhi… fans need to be more respectful,” and another calling the fans “vultures disguised as fans.”
Many echoed that celebrities deserve basic respect and personal space. One comment read, “They are not fans, they’re vultures,” while another emphasised, “Celebrities are humans too, not public property.”
The incident has reignited conversations about the need for stricter crowd control and respectful fan behaviour at such high-profile events.
