Arijit Singh on his song in 'Tubelight'

A few months earlier, everyone in Bollywood had witnessed singer Arijit Singh‘s spat with superstar Salman Khan which started off with a public apology from the singer on Facebook over some misunderstanding in an award function. Much worse followed when Arijit’s version of ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ from Salman’s last blockbuster ‘Sultan’ was replaced with singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s version. But leaving all this controversy behind and starting afresh, Arijit confirmed that he would be definitely crooning a track in Kabir Khan’s upcoming ‘Tubelight’ which stars Salman Khan. However, recently, Arijit’s latest interview somewhere indicates that still, the cracks are not fully filled and forgotten.

Talking about it to an agency, Arijit Singh said, “Well, I will sing in ‘Tubelight’ again. But after that, what will happen I don’t know. But I will definitely sing because nobody can stop me from singing a song. Phir uske baad kya decision hoga woh toh unke upar hai (referring to Salman). Unki naarazgi kitni hai un pe (depend karta hai).”

After their period of controversy, Arijit further said that he has not spoken to Salman Khan but he hopes to do so in the future.

“No, I didn’t speak to him. I didn’t get a chance to speak to him. May be, I’ll get a chance someday and then I will but I don’t think he takes these things that seriously. Everybody else made the matter serious.” [sic]

“There is no ill-will from his side either. He has a lot of work in his life, he is not bothered about such things. He works so hard and makes these films. We are entertained. Look at ‘Sultan’. It has created so much awareness about a lot of things. He has got nothing to do with this silly small thing. Baaki logo ko padi hai, unko (Salman) nahi,” added the ‘Tum Hi Ho’ singer.

Apart from ‘Tubelight’, Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Raaz Reboot’ currently features three melodious tracks crooned by Arijit Singh.
