In March, the ‘Rocking Star’ announced the release date of his upcoming film, Toxic, and thrilled fans with a new poster. Once again, Yash has garnered admiration for his thoughtful off-screen gestures.
Yash Relocates Toxic Shooting In Mumbai For Kiara Advani
123 Telugu reported that Yash requested director Geetu Mohandas and producer Venkat K. Narayana to relocate the entire shoot from Bengaluru to Mumbai. He also worked with the filmmakers to facilitate a smooth and efficient shoot in Mumbai, which helped save a considerable amount for the film’s producers. The actor arranged the move to Mumbai to ensure his co-star Kiara Advani, who is expecting her first child, has a comfortable experience.
Regarding Kiara, she and Sidharth Malhotra announced in March that they are expecting their first child. They shared a joint Instagram post that read, “The greatest gift of our lives coming soon.” Notably, Yash has not appeared in any films since his 2022 blockbuster, KGF 2.
About Toxic
In March, the ‘Rocking Star’ revealed the release date for his next project, Toxic, along with a new poster. The film is set to release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Eid weekend. There are reports that Toxic might face a significant clash with Love & War, starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal. An official confirmation from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s team is still awaited. Interestingly, the film’s title, Toxic, was reportedly suggested by Yash himself.
