The India Story: Makers Unveil New Poster; Kajal Aggarwal And Shreyas Talpade Confront An Angry Mob

The makers of The India Story have unveiled another gripping poster that further builds anticipation for the upcoming socially relevant courtroom drama. Presented by Zee Studios in association with MIG Production & Studios, the film is directed by Chettan DK and written and produced by Sagar B. Shinde. Slated for a worldwide theatrical release on July 24, 2026, The India Story will release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.

Inspired by the issue of pesticide farming and its far-reaching impact on public health, the film brings a socially significant subject to the big screen through a compelling courtroom narrative. The newly released poster features Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade in a tense and emotionally charged moment, hinting at the relentless battle their characters undertake while uncovering a disturbing truth.

Set in the middle of a bustling vegetable market, the poster captures an atmosphere of chaos and fear. Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade are seen surrounded by an aggressive crowd. The angry vendors were pointing fingers and hurling vegetables at them. The frightened expressions on the lead actors, the flying vegetables. The hostile mob create a powerful visual that reflects the resistance faced by those who dare to expose uncomfortable realities. The tagline, “Slow Poison in Progress…”, further strengthens the film’s central theme, suggesting a hidden menace that silently impacts millions.
