Karan Johar had quite the lavish celebration for his 50th birthday and he shared his special day with his Bollywood besties. We saw the ace filmmakers’ celebrity friends turn up in their fashionable best at Yash Raj studios for the gala affair. Arriving at Karan’s bash were also a lot of B-town couples including Katrina Kaif- Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor- Mira Rajput, Aishwarya Rai- Abhishek Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor – Said Ali Khan and many more.

These celeb couples arrived in style but did that hit or miss with their looks? Let’s take a look at their dashing appearances.

Celebrity couples at Karan Johar’s Birthday Bash:

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan

First up we saw a royal couple of Bollywood Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan arrive for the bash grabbing eyeballs. Now, Kareena and Saif are not one of the couples who ever fail to impress with their amazing outfits but this time, well was the first time. Kareena wore a silver Paco Rabanne dress which was paired with black strappy heels and minimal diamond-studded jewellery. While Kareena’s accessories were on point, her dress was the most unflattering. Saif, on the other hand, was seen in a custom Tom Ford suit. He was wearing a cream jacket with a white undershirt and black bottoms. While one cannot space the charm Saif oozes, his suit was a bit off-putting.

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput

Next, we saw Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput arrive in style and they were hands down one of the best dressed at the party. Mira looked beautiful in a custom made black sequined Falguni and Shane Peacock strapless dress which was paired with black Louboutins. She finished her look with minimal jewellery and we have to say we were in love with her look. Talking about Shahid, he looked dapper in a Shantanu and Nikhil suit which was a cream and white number. The Jersey actor looked dashing and along with his gorgeous wifey, the couple stunned at Karan’s bash.

Ayushmann Khurana and Tahira Kashyap

Ayushmann Khurana and his wife Tahira Kashyap also arrived at Karan’s birthday bash. Tahira was seen in a black Shantanu and Nikhil dress. She paired the bodycon number with Russo Brunello heels and left her hair down in dramatic waves. Meanwhile, Dream Girl star Ayushmann looked handsome in a blue suit, skipping the undershirt, Khuranna made a statement with a chunky silver chain. While his whole look was on point, his shoes were a bit different to his ensemble.

Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad

After getting the rumour mill rife with speculations, Hrithik Roshan finally made his first official appearance at an event with his girlfriend Saba Azad. Hrithik oozed Greek God vibes in a black suit, the handsome hunk made hearts stop with his dashing look but his lady love Saba could not impress in her cutout Zara dress which was paired with gold accessories and strappy heels.

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal

Newlyweds Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal made heads turn as they stepped out for the evening at Karan Johar’s birthday bash. Katrina looked gorgeous in a Magdha Butrym dress but those feathers were unnecessary. She rocked a sleek hairdo and rounded off the look with silver strappy heels. Vicky wore a black Manish Malhotra suit and the handsome hunk made hearts flutter with his look to say the least. Vicky and Katrina were definitely one of the best dressed for the evening.

Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani

Also seen at Karan’s birthday bash were love birds Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani. They kept it quite simple, or a bit too simple with their looks for the evening. Rakul wore a red velvet Alexander Vauthier dress which she rounded off with silver heels and drop earrings. Jackky, on the other hand, was seen in a blue Sarab Khanijou suit. The couple kept it elegant and a bit too simple for the bash.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also arrived with her husband Abhishek Bachchan at Karan Johar’s birthday bash making jaws drop on her way. While Abhishek Bachchan looked dapper in his black suit, Aishwarya Rai rocked a gold ensemble. The actress was seen wearing a Falguni and Shane Peacock number which was paired with a black gold studded blazer. While her dress it itself was gorgeous, she could have avoided the blazer.

Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh

Making us go mushy were the adorable Genelia D’Souza and her husband Riteish Deshmukh. Ritesh looked handsome as always in a Rohit Bal floral embroidered black suit with statement Louboutin shoes. Genelia looked lovely in a off shoulder black dress that flared out at the waist. Genelia and Riteish get a thumbs up from us for this one.

Lastly, we also saw the rumoured couple and Shershah stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani make an appearance at Karan’s birthday bash as well. They arrived seperately but left fans gawking with their looks. Kiara rocked a Jacquemus and Monisha Jaising ensemble which was undeniably one of the best. It was a white blazer apired with a silver mini skirt and she completed the look with strappy heels. Meanwhile, her rumoured boyfriend Siddharth rocked a Manish Malhotra black statement suit which left him looking dapper and more.
