Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), India’s most iconic knowledge-based quiz show, is set to make a grand return with its latest season 17, hosted by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. Ushering in this new chapter, Sony Entertainment Television has unveiled a fresh and inspiring campaign — ‘Jahaan Akal Hai Wahan Akad Hai’.

Amitabh Bachchan Is Back With Kaun Banega Crorepati 17

Amitabh Bachchan has officially announced the return of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17 in a new promo. The popular quiz show is set to premiere on August 11 on Sony TV. After hosting several seasons, Big B is back once again to challenge contestants with his signature tough questions. Sony has confirmed the show’s return with a fresh season. And Amitabh Bachchan is ready to take on the role once more.

The announcement features a playful promo inspired by one of his most legendary on-screen characters. The video begins with a wealthy, arrogant man scolding a door-to-door salesman for supposedly damaging his “imported from London” carpet. As the tirade continues, the salesman, visibly annoyed, counters with facts about the carpet’s fibre and anti-dust features, showing there’s no real damage. Before leaving, he even offers the man some cash. Humorously suggesting he use it for his throat after such a tirade.

Amitabh Bachchan then makes his appearance. He delivers the memorable line: “Jahan akal hai, wahan akad hai” (Where there is wisdom, there is confidence). Earlier, the veteran actor had dismissed rumours of quitting the show with a post from the sets. He confirmed his continued association with the popular quiz show.

According to reports, the veteran actor will next be seen in Brahmastra Part 2 and 3, Section 84, and The Intern.
