Bigg Boss OTT: Neha Bhasin the first confirmed contestant, says ‘Ready ho jaiye meri awaz sune ke liye

The most popular reality show on Indian television is back with a bang. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that we’re talking about Bigg Boss. The producers have opted to introduce Bigg Boss OTT, which will air exclusively on VOOT Select, adding a fresh twist to the story. On the streaming platform, the show will be available for six weeks and hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar.

Bigg Boss’ official Twitter account has hinted at the identity of the first Bigg Boss OTT contestant. The handle asked users to guess the contestant’s name by posting a half-cropped photo of her. The tweet read, “CONTESTANT REVEALED! Inaankhonkepeechekaunhaipatalaganaha? TohjaoVootpar. Bigg Boss OTT aaraha hai on 8th Aug only on #Voot.”

According to the promo that got premiered on Friday night Neha Bhasin is the first confirmed contestant of Bigg Boss OTT. The singer has delivered many hit songs. The promo began with Neha Bhasin singing the viral hit song Bajre Da Sitta. “Ready ho jayiye Bigg Boss ke ghar mein meri awaaz sunne ke liye. Yeh awaaz gaati bhi hai, goonjti bhi hai lekin kisi se dabti nahi hai (Get ready to hear my voice in the Bigg Boss house. This voice sings, reverberates but is not scared of anyone),” she said in the teaser.

Neha Bhasin became an overnight sensation when she won the reality show Channel V Popstars and formed the pop band Viva, along with four other singers. Fashion’s song “Kuch khaas hai” gave her her big start in Bollywood. She has sung various Hindi and Tamil songs since leaving Fashion.

The singer has previously been on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and served as a judge on &TV’s Love Me India. On a personal front, she is married to Sameer Uddin, a composer. On August 8, Bigg Boss OTT will begin, promising “over the top drama.” According to reports, the show would also feature reality television sensation Divya Agarwal and television star Ridhima Pandit.
