Dipika Kakar Battles Stage 2 Liver Cancer, Set For Major Surgery; Shoaib Ibrahim Shares Emotional Update

Actor Shoaib Ibrahim has shared an emotional message on Instagram, asking fans to pray for his wife, Dipika Kakar. She is going to have a long surgery on June 3. Dipika has been diagnosed with stage two liver cancer.

Dipika Kakar To Undergo Stage 2 Liver Cancer Surgery

Shoaib posted a note on his Instagram Stories to give an update about Dipika’s health. He said that the surgery was earlier delayed because Dipika had a viral infection and flu-like symptoms. But now, her surgery is scheduled for June 3.

He wrote, “Dippi’s surgery is scheduled to happen tomorrow morning. It’s going to be a long surgery… she needs all your prayers and strength the most… please keep her in your prayers.” He added several folded hand emojis to his message.

Last week, Shoaib and Dipika had also spoken on their YouTube channel. They explained that the surgery had to be postponed because Dipika hadn’t fully recovered from the flu. The couple opened up about their difficult time and shared how they are staying strong.

Dipika also said that doctors told them she would get better after the tumour is removed through surgery. Shoaib added that Dipika is also in pain because of a stone in her gall bladder, which makes the situation more painful for her. Shoaib’s heartfelt note has touched many fans, and messages of support have been pouring in for the couple.
