Yes, in a recent interview, Disha revealed that Rahul Vaidya was surprised when Disha informed him about her pregnancy. She even revealed that she video-called Rahul to announce her pregnancy which took him by surprise as it wasn’t planned.

While talking to Instant Bollywood, “He was surprised because this wasn’t planned, honestly. This came out of nowhere, and he was working and was for a show somewhere in Goa, and I video-called him to tell him. He was very happy, he has always loved kids.”

Disha talks about how Rahul will be as a father

The Bade Achhe Lagte Hain actor shared, “He was very vocal about how he wanted kids. So, I think he was the happiest and will be a hands-on father. As he already accompanies her to every hospital visit, every appointment, everywhere he is present without even asking him once. Mai ne ek baar nahi bola ki can you come.”

Earlier, Disha shared a picture of herself donning a pretty bodycon orange dress. She was seen flaunting her baby bump while flaunting her hair as well. Hoping to have good hair throughout her pregnancy, she captioned, “My Hair has been at its best in pregnancy (Ps – please don’t fall off later.. be like this only)”

In May, Disha and Rahul announced their first pregnancy. Sharing a twinning photo and pictures of ultrasound, the couple wrote, “Hello from Mummy Daddy to be & the BABY!!” The actor and Rahul had an intimate yet grand wedding on July 16, 2021, with close friends and family in attendance.
