The actress, who starred in the TV drama Madhubala, is extremely dedicated to her fitness, giving even the most dedicated fitness enthusiasts a run for their money. Because of her bold style, Drashti has won the hearts of millions and amassed a large fan base. She occasionally posts workout videos doing tricep push-ups, core exercises, plyometrics, and a lot more.

For the past two years, she has been away from the industry, but now she is eager to be back on the sets and shooting again. For Drashti acting is her only plan. Being onscreen, the chaos and energy on sets excite her. She has been enjoying this break but now wants to get back to work and start shooting with a bang.

Currently, Drashti Dhami is all set to make her digital debut with Nikkhil Advani’s The Empire. The shoot for the show had already begun last year, with a star cast that included Ronit Roy, Dia Mirza, and Shabana Azmi. The shoot was supposed to start in February 2020, but it was pushed back due to the lockdown.

However, now that actress Dia Mirza, who had shot for the series, has dropped out, the producers have cast television’s popular actress Drashti Dhami to play the character of Khanzada Begum. The series follows the rise and fall of the Mughal Empire through successive generations, from Babur to Aurangzeb. It will be available on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar.
