Now, for an exclusive conversation with Divyanka for Xtraordinary You on Bollywood Bubble, the actress revealed being called a ‘tantrum queen’ once. “It was very tough honestly. When you are new, if you tell something even by shouting, it will look like a lie and unfortunately, back then, only the thing which used to come in the news especially, it seemed true to the people. People didn’t even know then that something could go wrong in the newspapers as well. With the help of sources, you can publish news and destroy someone’s career. Today, when I think that this thing is wrong and it will backfire very badly, now, I clarify by going on social media and saying ‘you know what this is wrong, this is not how this issue should be addressed’ but back then, this was not the case. At that time I tried to tell but no one was listening. There was a phase, when I would go to meet someone, they would tell me: ‘you are a tantrum throwing actor, you won’t get any work’ and I’m like ‘Ok, have an experience with me, give me some work.'”

Further, Divyanka said: “Once, it happened that I started working on a project and there was an issue related to clothes and custom and when I told them about the fitting issue, they said: ‘We have already heard a lot about you that you throw tantrums, and we saw it today’ I was like ‘But this is your show, I am telling for your show that there is a problem in the custom, you should be speaking to you master (tailor). It’s just that getting things done. People can be really lazy, they want to point out fingers but not do anything about it.”
