EXCLUSIVE: Karanvir Bohra on how he felt after Munawar Faruqui called him ‘loser’: His words stabbed me in the back
Actor Karanvir Bohra has won hearts with his acting skills over the years. And, it was only recently that the actor was a part of a reality show. He was last seen in the show Lock Upp. During his stint, Karanvir Bohra shared a sweet bond with Lock Upp winner Munawar Faruqui. However, things didn’t go down well with both when the Lock Upp winner called Bohra a ‘loser’. We sat down with Karanvir for a candid chat after his eviction from the show.
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Karanvir Bohra opened up about Munawar Faruqui calling him a ‘loser’. Bohra said that he was hurt after Munawar’s ‘loser’ comment. He even mentioned that Faruqui’s words stabbed him in the back.
Karanvir said, “Of course, I felt very hurt. Because, humne hai na, start se yeh pplan kiya tha, ke hum below the belt nahi khelenge (Because, we had planned from the beginning that we would never play the game, below the belt). Jab uski woh shaadi ki woh photo bhi aayi thi (When his wedding photo had surfaced), I never called him out on it.” He added, “I was proud of him. I said ‘I am so proud of you because now I can understand, because now even you’re a father. It was very easy to call him out on this.”

Bohra continued, “When he called me that, I said ‘Unbelievable’. Someone who, don teen saal hue that you’ve gained this popularity, before that what were you. How much struggle you had to do. And now, you laugh and call me names. And before that he said ‘I am sorry’.”
He further added, “And, immediately after few hours Poonam (Poonam Pandey) was in her stupid mood and said that ‘ek bhi reality shows bhi nahi jeeta’. Munawar was the loudest to laugh at. His words stabbed me in the back.”

For the unversed, Karanvir and Munawar were having fun during one episode of the show. At that time, Karanvir was chasing Munawar to snatch a box, the latter made a mean comment at Bohra’s career. Munawar continued to make fun of Karanvir and passed comments on his career.
