EXCLUSIVE: Kritika Kamra REVEALS losing out on big projects: I wasn’t so lucky, shoot didn’t take off at last stages

Kritika Kamra is one of the brilliant actors in the industry. With hardwork and talent, Kritika has successfully made a mark for herself in the industry. The actress has appeared in many TV shows including Kitani Mohabbat Hai and Kuch Toh Log Kahenge. Kritik has also appeared in films and web shows. Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble for XtraOrdinary You season 2, Kritika recalled losing out on big films during her initial days.

The actress said, “With films, I wasn’t so lucky. This happened to me thrice actually. I signed some again like credible good producers, big projects with a good cast, with a studio, no problem in funding and all that and for some reason or the other they didn’t take off. It happened to me a couple of times before my first film. They were big films. Two of them were big films.”

The actress added, “There was a film that Dharma and Balaji were doing together which was supposed to be a remake of Vanity Fair with Emraan Hashmi. Everything was done and the schedule, I had done my costume trial and everything and that didn’t happen.”

Kritika went on to add, “Two other projects also like really like last stages just before shoot for some reason didn’t take off. And it’s unpredictable this business.” While talking about the reasons, Kritika said, “Reasons not really. Like, I don’t know the exact reasons but I am guessing some business there are just calls that producers have to take, nothing big or dramatic there but I was told but ya.”

Kritika’s journey has its ups and downs. Kritika has proved her mettle as an artist by taking up various projects like Mitron, Tandav among others. The actress recently delivered a terrific performance in Tanuja Chandra’s web show Hush Hush season 1.
