Yesteryear actresses Padmini Kolhapure and Poonam Dhillion will spread their charm in the upcoming episode of Indian Idol 12.

Padmini Kolhapure and Poonam Dhillion share a great camaraderie, and are touted to be ‘best of friends.’ The duo will not only make heads turn with their fun-lovingly banter but also go down memory lane. They will share some interesting stories from their careers. Padmini ji, will leave everyone emotional as she talks about her bond with late Bollywood superstar Rishi Kapoor.

Late Rishi Kapoor and Padmini Kolhapure have given several hits together like Prem Rog, Yeh Ishq Nahin Aasaan, Hawalaat, Pyar Ke Kabil, and Zamane Ko Dikhana Hai. Remaining her bond with the late Rishi ji, the actress revealed how he had saved her life twice. Yes! Padmini Kolhapure revealed that late Rishi Kapoor ji saved her twice from fire hazards.

She revealed that late Rishi ki had saved her while shooting for their song ‘Hoga Tumsay Pyaara Kaun’ when the set caught fire. He also saved her from the fire on the sets of their acclaimed movie Prem Rog. Sharing her admiration for the late actor, Padmini ji expressed, “Rishi ji was not only a great actor but a very nice human being also. He was always there to help others and he saved me twice. The respect I had for him inevitably increased. He will always be there in our prayers.”

For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor left for his heavenly abode in April 2020, at the age of 67. The veteran actor lost his battle to life to cancer.
