Kangana Ranaut hosted show Lock Upp was all set to hit the OTT scene from February 27 but looks like the show will not be having a release on time. Before Lock Upp hits the ground running, the show has landed in deep legal trouble. The Ekta Kapoor produced show has been in deep legal water as allegations of plagiarism have been made against the show.

The show has so far unveiled the confirmed contestants to be Poonam Pandey, Munawar Faruqui, Babita Phogat, and Karanvir Bohra. Other names on the table were Karan Mehra, Rohman Shawl, Chetan Bhagat, Shehnaaz Gill, Rakhi Sawant’s ex-husband Ritesh Singh but none of them have been confirmed as yet.

As per a report by Bollywood Life, a certain Mr. Sanober Baig has sought and been granted a stay order against the makers of Lock Upp. This has left producer Ekta Kapoor bound to not go ahead with the show’s release. The report also said that Baig has alleged that the concept of the Kangana Ranaut-hosted Lock Upp has been plagiarised. It is said that he will be holding a press conference about the same.
