Kasautii Zindagi Kay fame Pracheen Chauhan arrested in an alleged molestation case

Kasautii Zindagi Kay actor Pracheen Chauhan, who played the role of Subroto Basu in the show, has been arrested by Kurar police for allegedly molesting a 22-year-old woman in Malad East. As per a report in Mid-Day, senior inspector Prakash Vele at Kurar police station said, “The woman approached us and alleged that Pracheen Chauhan touched her inappropriately in an inebriated state.”

They have registered an FIR under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and arrested the actor from his house. They haven’t revealed much details on the case.

ANI also tweeted the same as their tweet read: “TV actor Pracheen Chauhan, who also appeared in serial ‘Kasauti Zindagi Kay’ season 1, arrested for allegedly molesting a girl. A case has been registered: Mumbai Police”.

Pracheen has worked in many shows like Ssshhhh… Koi Hai, Kyun Hota Hai Pyarr, Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat, Sindoor Tere Naam Ka, Kutumb, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, The Adventures Of Hatim, Laal Ishq, and S.I.T. videos.

A few days back, Naagin actor Pearl V Puri was also arrested for allegedly raping a minor, but he was later granted bail on a cash surety of Rs. 25,000.
