Nakuul Mehta pens an appreciation post for Gajraj Rao as he directs Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 promos

Currently, there is a lot of buzz around the premiere of show Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2. It was only recently that the makers dropped the promo videos of the show starring Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar in the lead. On August 25, Wednesday, Nakuul took to his Instagram to pen an appreciation post for actor-director Gajraj Rao. He expressed his thoughts about working with Rao once again. The Badhaai Ho actor has directed the two promos of show Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2.

Nakuul Mehta shared a picture with Gajraj Rao from the sets. Sharing the picture collage, the actor wrote, “In an industry, where you move from one project to another, always fighting timelines, one almost gets immune to transactional relationships owing to the nature of the job itself, @gajrajrao is a gorgeous anomaly. (sic)” Mehta added, “I had the wonderful opportunity to be directed by him for a series of promos for the launch campaign of my new TV show, after nearly a decade of shooting a chocolate commercial together. (sic)”

He continued, “He spoils you with his time, building a rapport, understanding your mental space, discussing how we can make a great product, on sharing random anecdotes during shoot (which are the real GOLD), caring if you are well fed, wanting to know the name of each member of your staff, sharing feedback, encouraging, showing you different possibilities and then wrapping all of this with warmth, complete respect & care for your individuality as an artist. (sic)” Nakuul wrote, “Thank you Gajraj Sir for being an absolute gem. Also, thank you for your thoughtful present. Finished reading it last night and it has given me so much to chew on and feel so encouraged .. Until we work again! (sic)”

Gajraj Rao even reacted to the post. He commented, “It was indeed a delight working with you and @dishaparmar, and I wish you both the very best for your upcoming journey with the show. Looking forward to collaborating over many more projects in the future! (sic)”

As Mehta even shared a picture with his Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 co-star, he added a post script for Disha Parmar in the end. The actor mentioned he is delighted to work again with his Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara co-star. Reacting to the post, Disha dropped a comment and questioned why she doesn’t have the pictures shared by Nakuul.

Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 airs from August 30 onwards.
