Nakuul Mehta quips on Rihanna’s Twitter account NOT disabled for her tweet on farmers’ protest

Nakuul Mehta is not just a fantastic actor but also a voice of reason. The actor continues to raise his voice against things that affect society, irrespective of its consequences. Nakuul recently posted a witty tweet after pop star Rihanna created a furor with her tweet on Farmers’ protest in India. Rihanna shared a piece of news where the internet suspension in areas where farmers are agitating was highlighted. Rihanna wrote, “why aren’t we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest“

Responding to it, Nakuul quipped if the Twitter account of Rihanna too will be suspended for her tweet on Farmers’ protest. It can be remembered that a few days back, as many as 300 accounts of the platform were suspended for allegedly posting false information about the protest. Those accounts were mainly those in support of the agitating farmers. Nakuul wrote, “Whaat? We haven’t disabled Rihanna’s Twitter handle, yet? #TooMuchDemocracy (sic).”

Meanwhile, recently, Nakuul’s collaboration with friend Ajax Singh for poems on democracy. Nakuul is seen calling a spade a spade with the witty poetries on democracy. The poems are a reflection of the current society we live in, in the times of democracy. They also sharply criticize the media and the government.
