Parth Samthaan Makes His TV Comeback With CID 2, REPLACES Shivaji Satam After ACP Pradyuman Death

Actor Parth Samthaan, who was last seen in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 with Erica Fernandes, is ready to return to television with CID 2. In this new chapter of the popular crime series, Parth will take on the role of the new ACP, stepping into the position once held by the iconic ACP Pradyuman, played by Shivaji Satam.

Parth Samthaan To Play ACP Pradyuman

After Pradyuman’s shocking death in the show, Parth’s character will now lead the team, working with familiar faces like Daya (Dayanand Shetty), Abhijeet (Aditya Srivastava), and others to crack new cases.

Speaking about playing ACP, Parth talked to Saas Bahu Aur Betiyaan and said, “Bachpan se humne yeh show dekha hai. Kitni dafa, yeh show playout bhi kiya hai. Yeh ek iconic show hai joh bohot saalon se chala aa raha hai.”

He further added, “Family ke saath jab discuss kiya toh unko pehle mazak laga. Jab maine unko seriously bataya, they were very proud. It is a big responsibility to fill in such humongous shoes of ACP Pradyuman since main unko replace kar raha hu as ACP Ayushmaan. Naya kirdar hai, nayi story hai. Naye thrill aur suspense ke saath hum iss kahani ko aage badhayenge.”

CID 2 Recent Episode

In a recent episode, ACP Pradyuman was killed in a deadly blast set off by Barbosa, the leader of The Eye Gang, played by Tigmanshu Dhulia. His death was a big turning point for the show.

However, it’s not clear if this is really the end of ACP Pradyuman. At the end of the episode, viewers heard his voice say, “Yeh khel abhi khatam nahi hua hai, abhi toh shuruwat hai,” hinting that he might still return.

In an interview, Shivaji Satam said he doesn’t know much about the character’s fate, as he has taken a break, and only the makers know what’s coming next.
